Genus. in 1888 in St. Petersburg; Russian; from the nobles; higher education: graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology of St. Petersburg University; Socialist Revolutionary since 1907. Participated in meetings of the Constituent Assembly on January 5, 1918. Until the mid-20s he worked in the library of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1921 he lived in Petrograd, teacher at Petrograd University; arrested by the Petrograd Gubernia Cheka on April 27, 1921 for belonging to the Socialist Revolutionary Party; released by order of May 11, 1922 (no charges were brought; no decision was made on the case). Arrested in October 1924, sent to Moscow on November 5, 1924; imprisoned in Butyrka prison, soon released. In 1929 he was arrested and soon released. Arrested in Leningrad on September 15, 1930; sentenced to exile in Central Asia for 3 years, in February 1931 exiled to Tashkent, then transferred to Kokand. In 1933 he lived in Kokand in exile, a researcher at the Interdistrict Museum; arrested 02/05/1933; sent for further investigation to Leningrad, in May transferred to Moscow; sentenced by OS KOGPU on June 28, 1933 under Art. 58-10, 11 (as a participant in the assassination attempt on Stalin) to 3 years in prison, sent to the Yaroslavl political detention center; released on January 20, 1936, sent into exile in Kuibyshev for 3 years. In 1938 in exile in Kuibyshev; arrested 01/11/1938; accused under Art. 58-10, 11; died during the investigation in the Kubyshev prison on October 22, 1938 (According to other sources, he was taken to Moscow, imprisoned in the Tagansk prison, released on June 17, 1939 and died in the hospital). Rehabilitated in the case of 1921 and 1938 on the basis of paragraph “e” of Art. 3 of the Law of the Russian Federation of October 18, 1991 “On the rehabilitation of victims of political repression”; in the case of 1933 - by the Leningrad Prosecutor's Office on August 31, 1989.
September 15, 1930 - arrested again in Leningrad, sentenced to 3 years of exile in Central Asia. In February 1931 he was exiled to Tashkent, then transferred to Kokand. He worked as a researcher at the Central Asian Branch of the Academy of Sciences[8].
February 5, 1933 - arrested as a participant in the “attempt” on Stalin (the poet N. Zabolotsky was involved in the same case) [6], sent for further investigation to Leningrad, in May transferred to Moscow. On June 28, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison and sent to the Yaroslavl political prison. January 20, 1936 - released and sent into exile in Kuibyshev for 3 years[8].
On January 11, 1938 he was arrested again[8].
There is much that is unclear in the last days of A. A. Ghisetti. According to some information, he died during the investigation on October 22, 1938 in the Kuibyshev prison[9]. According to others, he was taken to Moscow and imprisoned in the Tagansk prison, and on June 17, 1939 he was released [10] and died in the hospital.

Rehabilitated according to the law of October 18, 1991[9].
