Poresh Vladimir Yurievich
Junior Research Fellow libraries of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR
Genus. in 1949 in Leningrad. He worked in the library of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR as a junior researcher. Since the mid 1970s. - Member of Ogorodnikov's seminar (circles in Moscow, Smolensk, Leningrad). With Ogorodnikov he edited the magazine "Community". Arrested in 1979. Sentenced by the judicial board of the Leningrad City Court on 04/25/1980 under Art. 70 h. 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in prison in labor camps, followed by a reference to 3 years. Imprisoned in the Perm camps (Perm-35). Released in 1986. Worked in a boiler room. In the early 1990s, he founded the religious-philosophical school and society "Open Christianity". Rehabilitated 10/18/1991. Chairman of the House of Human Rights in St. Petersburg; French teacher at the Institute of Philosophy and Theology. Died in Kazakhstan on 01/21/2023.
