Arrested on January 27, 1970. in Sverdlovsk. Sentenced by the Sverdlovsk Regional Court on November 12, 1970 under Art. 190-1 by 3 years of ITC. Kept in Omsk. In 1972 Convicted by the Omsk Regional Court under Art. 70 part 1 in 1972 He was kept in a special mental hospital in Tashkent. In 1974, he was discharged and sent to Chelyabinsk to his mother’s place of residence. Tried again by the Chelyabinsk Regional Court in 1975. according to Art. 190-1, sentenced to compulsory treatment in a special mental hospital. He was kept in a special mental hospital in Tashkent until January 21, 1982. In January 1982 transferred to a special psychiatric hospital in Mogilev (from 02/21/1982 to 05/20/1986). Released June 12, 1987 Having created the Democratic Union on May 9, 1988, he created the Democratic Party on its basis on January 13, 1989. On October 7, 1990, it was renamed Conservative. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated October 10, 1991. In May 1991 he was nominated for the post of President of the RSFSR. In May 1993, together with Vladimir Gershuni, he founded the Anti-Communist Popular Front (APF). In 1997, together with Vladimir Burenin, he founded the Conservative Movement of Russia (CDR). Died in 2003 in Moscow.
