Born in 1883 in Alma-Ata. Lived in: Leningrad, Vasilievsky Island, 13th Line, Bldg. 56, Apt. 3. Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences and Academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Deputy Director for Research at the Leningrad State Hydrological Institute. Arrested on 25.12.1936 in Kislovodsk. Transferred to the NKVD Directorate for the Leningrad Region. By the verdict of the Visiting Session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated 22.05.1937, he was sentenced to capital punishment under Articles 58-7, 58-8, 58-11. He was executed on 23.05.1937 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated by the determination of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated 07.03.1956.
