Grünberger Rolf Richard-Robert
Genus. in 1929 in Kamenets; German; German citizen. Since 1949, he was a student at the University of Leipzig, studying chemistry. Arrested by the German police on 10/13/1950 (according to other sources - 11/06/1950) and handed over to the Soviet security authorities. Together with 9 students from the same university, he was accused of espionage and anti-Soviet agitation. Sentenced by the military tribunal of military unit No. 48240 (Dresden) on January 20, 1951 to 25 years in labor camp. He was imprisoned in Vorkuta. Transferred to the GDR and released on December 28, 1953. After an attempted recruitment by the security service in February 1954, he fled to West Berlin. From 1956 to 1989 he worked as a chemical technologist (“chemical technician”).
