In 1937 he was dismissed from military service, expelled from the members of the CPSU (b) Arrested on 07/10/1937; sentenced by the USSR Supreme Commissariat to 10 years in labor camp; in custody - in various camps in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. From 1947 he was in the settlement on an unconvoyed "business trip", worked as a chief mechanic in the Bolshe-Urinskaya MTS of the Taseevsky district. In 1954 he was rehabilitated, reinstated in the party, reinstated in the military rank of retired colonel with the right to wear military uniforms. In 1954 he moved to Kyiv. He worked as chairman of the Commission under the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR for the rehabilitation of victims of unjustified repressions. Died 10/05/1989. He was buried at Baikovo Cemetery.
