Zagursky Grigory Alexandrovich

Born 01/01/1904 in the city of Irbit, Perm province, in a peasant family. After leaving school for about 10 years, he worked as a draftsman, laborer, painter and designer in Moscow factories. Student at the Moscow Higher Technical School. In 1932 he was transferred to the 3rd year of LMSI, a participant in the organization of production at the plant named after. K. Marx invented the cotton spinning machine. Simultaneously with his studies, he worked as an employee at the Research Institute of Textile Engineering. In 1933, he was expelled from LMSI (Leningrad Mechanical Engineering Institute) “due to being recalled to Moscow to implement his inventions.” Before his arrest, he was a design engineer at a plant in Moscow. Sentenced by a resolution of the Supreme Court of the USSR Supreme Court dated January 25, 1935 under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR by 6 years. In custody in Solovetsky prison. Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD for the Leningrad Region dated February 14, 1938 to VMN. Shot in 1938 on Solovki.
