Genus. in 1947 in West Germany, Belgian national. Lived in Belgium, in the village of Maosmechelen, Corgan st. 11, was a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Sociology at the Catholic University of Leuven. Before his trip to the USSR, to Ukraine, a member of the OUN ZCH Provod and the head of the Central Administration of the SUM Omelyan Koval met with him and offered to carry out several assignments, incl. meet with Ukrainian dissidents. Before flying to Belgium, on January 4, 1972, he was detained during a customs inspection.On May 25, 1972, he wrote a letter to the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR asking for a pardon and agreed to make a public appearance “before the Soviet people.”
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council, he was released “in order to further strengthen relations between the Soviet Union and Belgium.”
And after his release, about 70 Ukrainian dissidents were arrested.
