Zimyakhin Pavel Alexandrovich
Agrobiologist
Born in 1911 in Alexandria, Ukraine (according to the house register - in the Krasnokholmsky district of the Kalinin region). Studied at the Leningrad Agricultural Institute. Lived in Leningrad (Karpovka embankment, bldg. 32, dormitory). Arrested no later than 09/07/1940 (discharged from the dormitory as an arrestee). Convicted under Art. 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, was imprisoned until 1953. Biology teacher at Secondary School No. 2 (1961-1971). Ecologist, poet, photographer. Honorary Chairman of the Alexandria branch of the International IPPBO "Memorial" and the V. Stus All-Union Institute of Pedagogical and Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
