Imyanitov Mikhail Gerasimovich
Born in 1897 in the town of Kraslavl, Vitebsk province, Dvinsky district; Jewish; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1918-1937. Participant in the Civil War. From 1919 to 1925 - deputy military commissar of the Leningrad Military Medical Academy. In 1927 he graduated from the Leningrad Military Medical Academy, specializing in neuropathology. From 1931 to 1937 - director of the Institute for Advanced Medical Studies and head of the Leningrad Regional Health Department. In 1936 he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. In 1937 he was expelled from the party and fired from his job. He went to live in the Leningrad region, the town of Borovichi, Leningradskaya St., Bldg. 32, Apt. 25 (address in Leningrad: Karpovka, Bldg. 13, Apt. 10). Worked as a doctor at the Borovichi Hospital (since April 1937). Arrested on August 6, 1937. Sentenced by a visiting session in Leningrad of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on November 30, 1937 under Article 58-7-8-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Executed on November 30, 1937. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on October 13, 1956. Rehabilitated in party terms on March 5, 1957.
