Born in 1938 in Kaluga. Studied in Moscow. average artist school (1952-58), at the Higher Art and Industry. school (1959-1965). He created and implemented sculptural projects for urban spaces in Moscow, Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), Nouakchott (Mauritania). In 1979 he emigrated to Austria. Recipient of the state award of the German Bundesland Rheinland-Pfalz for creating works of art for public places (1985). Honorary Professor of the International Academy of Architecture (IAA; 2007). Lived in Germany and Austria (as of 2012).
