Genus. in 1898 in Rostov-on-Don; Russian; secondary education (graduated from a trade school) and incomplete higher education; member of the CPSU (b) in 1920–1933. Worked on the answer. positions in the Cheka in 1920–1923; ex. Chairman Len. Torgsin branch, former Chairman of Lenraisoyuz, member of the board of Sevzapsoyuz. Address before arrest: Leningrad, Karl Marx Ave., 105, apt. 12. Arrested on December 18, 1932 on charges of “being an informant for the British on economic and political issues.” By a resolution of the troika of the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District dated May 14, 1933, he was sentenced under Art. 58-6 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in a concentration camp. Imprisoned in Belbaltlag, from where he was transferred to Solovki (reason: “kept in touch with his family in Leningrad”). He was kept on a business trip to Isakovo, worked as an agricultural worker. By a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/14/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 1, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on August 16, 1989 by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Leningrad Military District.
