Lopatin German Alexandrovich

Definition: Russian politician, revolutionary, member of the General Council of the First International, the first translator of Karl Marx’s “Capital” into Russian.

Reproduction methods:
In 1884 he made an attempt to recreate the "People's Will" destroyed by tsarism and turn it into a broad people's organization. However, in October 1884 he was arrested and, according to the “trial of the 21st” (1887), forever imprisoned in the Shlisselburg fortress. Released during the revolution of 1905-1907.
