Mountain Regional Committee of the RCP (b) in 1920. In the bodies of the Cheka - OGPU - NKVD he rose from an employee for special assignments for the BB OO of the Southern Front in 1920 to the People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1937. Arrested on June 22, 1937, sentenced on September 14. 1937 to VMN. Rehabilitated in 1958
