Genus. in 1914 in Art. Novotitarovskaya, Ekaterinodar department of the Kuban region in a Cossack family; b/p; incomplete secondary education. In 1935 he lived in Vladivostok, a student at the library department of the Vladivostok Pedagogical College; arrested, accused of taking part, together with Vaksman, in decorating the reading room for the celebration of the 17th anniversary of the Red Army and, on Vaksman’s instructions, hanging a poster with a portrait of Trotsky and with a slogan popularizing him as the leader and organizer of the Red Army; being an active enemy of Soviet power, he outlined his fascist beliefs in his diary, which he gave to Pedagogical College students to read; arrested 06/04/1935; sentenced by the OSO under the NKVD of the USSR on August 4, 1935 to 3 years in labor camp; served his sentence in Komi KP-8 part 1, Vorkuta branch of the Ukhtpechlag, where he arrived on 12/10/1935; released 02/11/1939.
