Genus. in 1894 in St. Petersburg; Russian; higher education: graduated from the Petrograd Psychoneurological Institute; Faculty of Philosophy of the Sorbonne; Slavic-Russian department of the Faculty of History and Philology of PSU. Member of the "Commonwealth of 5" circle, an active Josephite. In 1928 he lived in Leningrad, worked as a teacher at school No. 192; arrested in the case of the "Brotherhood of St. Seraphim of Sarov" 02/11/1928; sentenced by the Kogpu on October 8, 1928 to 5 years ELEPHANT, worked as a doctor at the central infirmary on Solovki. In June 1930 he was transferred to Moscow, brought to investigation in the case of the All-Union Center of the True Orthodox Church, and received a new sentence, which he served in the BBL. In the mid-1930s he was released without the right to live in large cities. He worked as a psychiatrist in Novgorod and other cities (in particular, he was the chief doctor at the regional boarding school for defective children named after Ushinsky, the chief psychiatrist at the Novgorod regional hospital). He took an active part in the life of the Catacomb Church, secretly leading a seminar on the study of theology. Arrested in March 1938, released. During the Second World War, he contributed to Russian newspapers in German-occupied territory; when the Germans retreated from Pskov, he was taken to Berlin; since 1950 in the USA. He died in New York in 1976, and was buried in the cemetery of the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville.
