Born in the village. Gbalevo Toropetskogo u. Pskov province; Russian; from peasants; primary education; turner; member of the CPSU (b) in 1915–1934; delegate of the XIV Congress of the CPSU(b). Former Director of the Bakery Trust, Director of Bakery No. 12. Lived in Leningrad (Grota St., 7, Apt. 23). Arrested on December 14, 1934, accused of “belonging to the counter-revolutionary Zinoviev group.” Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR dated January 16, 1935 under Art. 58-10, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years in prison. In custody in the Verkhneuralsk political isolation ward. In August 1936 he was transferred to Leningrad for additional investigation. Sentenced on December 28, 1936 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. 58-8, 11 to 10 years in prison and loss of license for 5 years with confiscation of property. In custody in Solovetsky prison. Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 to VMN. Shot on November 2, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on July 15, 1957 by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District.
