Born in 1906 in Novomoskovsk, Dnepropetrovsk region; member of the Komsomol since 1923, member of the All-Union Communist Party (bolsheviks) - Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1930, expelled in 1950 as part of the "Leningrad Affair". Worked as a journalist, editor-in-chief of Lendetizdat, deputy director for science at the Museum of the Defense of Leningrad. Arrested on 02/09/1951. Sentenced by the resolution of a special meeting of the USSR MGB dated 06/23/1951 to 10 years in a correctional labor camp. Imprisoned in the Komi ASSR, 5th separate camp point (OLP) of Minlag (Inta station). Rehabilitated by the decision of the USSR Prosecutor's Office, the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs and the KGB under the USSR Council of Ministers dated 10/25/1954. Released on 11/29/1954. From 1955 until his retirement in 1968 he worked at the publishing house "Shipbuilding".
