Genus. in 1883 in the village of Zaimishche, Pechora volost (Estonia); Estonian; b/n; lower education. In the early 1930s, he worked as the chief cashier of the Berlin trade mission of the USSR; in 1932 - traveling accountant for the collective farms of the Moscow region. Being an acquaintance of the Solonevich brothers, he tried to escape from the USSR with them in 1932, the attempt failed. Another attempt took place in September 1933; arrested on a train on the way to Murmansk, along with other participants in the escape 09/09/1933; on November 28, 1933, he was sentenced by the Troika of the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District to 8 years in labor camp, served at the LBC. He died on March 12, 1936 in Ukhtpechlage. Rehabilitated by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Leningrad Military District on 07/20/1989.
