From August 1891 - second lieutenant of the 29th Chernigov Infantry Regiment, in 1892 he graduated from the 2nd Konstantinovsky Military School. From August 1900 - captain of the General Staff. In 1901 he graduated from the Nikolaev General Staff Academy, 1st category; from November - senior adjutant of the headquarters of the 2nd Cossack consolidated division. In 1904-1905 he took part in the Russo-Japanese War. From October 1914 - commander of the 113th Starorussky Infantry Regiment; from February 1916 - major general; from March 1916 - brigade commander of the 1st Turkestan Rifle Division. In 1918 he joined the Red Army, commanded the 3rd and 5th armies of the Eastern Front, and took Omsk in battle on November 15, 1919. In 1930 he was arrested in Kharkov as the leader of an underground officer organization. 05/20/1931 sentenced to military service. Shot on May 27, 1931. Rehabilitated by the ruling of the Military Tribunal of the Kyiv Military District dated April 30, 1974.
