Genus. in 1866 in the city of Tiraspol, Kherson province; from nobles; higher education: graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Technology and the Institute of Communications. Since 1918 he worked in the People's Commissariat of Railways, since 1925 the chairman of the Scientific and Technical Committee of the People's Commissariat of Railways. Since 1926, professor, first head of the department "Locomotives and locomotive economy" at the Leningrad Institute of Railways. In 1928 he lived in Leningrad; arrested 10/10/1928; sentenced to OS KOGPU on 01/14/1929 under Art. 58-7 to 10 years ITL; imprisoned in SLON. For preparing to escape, he was sentenced by OS KOGPU on 10/24/1929 to VMN; shot 10/29/1929. Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court on August 16, 1989.
