Genus. in 1897 in Kozelsk, Kaluga province; Russian; from the family of a migrant worker; locksmith; higher education: graduated from the Sverdlov Communist University; member of the RCP(b) since 1916. Before the revolution, he was arrested for participating in strikes, but was not convicted. He served briefly in the tsarist army; in the Red Army - from 1917 to February 1921, he was commissar of the division headquarters. From 1921 to 1926 he was elected to various party and professional positions, worked in Moscow, Zhitomir, Grozny, Rostov-on-Don and Pyatigorsk. Expelled from the party in 1927 for belonging to the opposition. In 1929 he was sentenced to OSO Kogpu under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code to 3 years in political isolation, in 1932 the OSO at the KogPU was sentenced to 2 years in political isolation, in 1934 he was sentenced to 3 years in exile. From April 1934 he was in exile in Minusinsk, where he was sent after his release from Suzdal prison. Arrested 03/05/1936; sentenced on July 10, 1936 to 5 years in labor camp. Served time in Ukhtpechlag; participated in the Vorkuta hunger strike of the Trotskyists (October 1936 - March 1937). Arrested 01/11/1938; sentenced under Art. 58-10, 11 to VMN. Shot on March 30, 1938. Burial place - Vorkuta Mine.
