Genus. in 1915. Graduated from art college in Rostov-on-Don. In 1942 he was captured and was abroad as a displaced person. Repatriated in 1945, then arrested. Active terrorist actions were charged. Sentenced to 10 years in labor camp. He served his sentence in Kolyma. Delivered to Magadan on the steamer "Soviet Latvia". Released from prison in December 1953. Participant in exhibitions since 1956. One of the authors of monumental monuments in Kolyma. After leaving Magadan, he participated in the work on the Memorial to the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad on Mamayev Kurgan.
