Rachinskaya Malvina Vladislavovna
Born 06/01/1920 in the village of Stolbovka, Rezekensky district. Latvia. Polka. Arrested 01/06/1941. Sentenced to 5 years in labor camp. Before the start of the war, she was kept in Rezekne prison and transferred to Krasnoyarsk. In September 1941 she arrived in Kraslag. Released on 21.05.1946 without the right to return to Latvia. She stayed to live in Kansk and worked in a sewing workshop. She married former prisoner S.S. Popovitsky in 1948. In 1949, S.S. Popovitsky was exiled to eternal settlement in the village of Aban, Krasnoyarsk Territory, and lived with her husband in Aban until his release. Since the late 1950s she lived with her family in Leningrad, rehabilitated by the Prosecutor's Office of the Latvian SSR in 1989. Member of the Memorial Society since 1988, treasurer of the society, Member of the Board. She died in St. Petersburg on September 29, 2011.
