Roitman Lev Izrailevich
Definition: American journalist of Jewish origin, originally from the USSR, for many years a leading commentator on Radio Liberty. Lawyer and writer.

Genus. in 1943 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Kyiv State University and from 1967 to 1971 practiced law in Kyiv. Published under various pseudonyms in Ukraine and Moscow. In 1973 he emigrated to the USA. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah in 1978. In 1982 he founded the German publishing house Roitman Verlag in Munich. He has published articles and interviews in periodicals, as well as the book “Sakhalin: Order to Kill” (in German).On Radio Liberty since 1974, in New York, Munich and Prague. Worked on radio assignments in various cities around the world. He was the host of the programs “Notes of a Lawyer”, “Soviet Union: Events, Problems, Judgments”, “Facts and Opinions. Commentators at the Round Table”.
