Genus. in 1927 on the Izhevka farm, Konstantinovsky district, Stalin region. (Donetsk); Ukrainian; Higher education, graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow University. He worked as a teacher, head teacher at a school for working youth, and as a firefighter in a fire brigade. Lived in the village. Alekseevo-Druzhkovka, Konstantinovsky district, Stalin region. Arrested 02/15/1957. Sentenced by the Stalin Regional Court on April 18, 1957 under Art. 54-10 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR (arrested for a letter to the Central Committee protesting against the actions of Soviet troops in Hungary) to 7 years in labor camp. Released in 1964. Arrested again in 1977 for participation in the creation of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group. Sentenced by the Donetsk Regional Court on July 1, 1977 under Art. 62 part 2 and art. 222 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years of labor camp and 5 years of exile. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga and Perm camps. Died in custody on 05/06/1984.
