Genus. in 1933 in Moscow. Studied at the Moscow Library Institute. Arrested 01/12/1957 for poems and leaflets about events in Hungary. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on April 19, 1957 under Art. 58-10 hours 1. to 5 years of ITL. He was serving a sentence in the Mordovian Dubravlag, where, together with M. Krasilnikov and others, he compiled handwritten almanacs "Troy" and "Pyatirechie". After his release in January 1962, he lived in Moscow, in 1966-1974. in Leningrad. He studied at the University of Tartu, graduated from the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute. In 1974 he emigrated to France.
