Genus. in 1932; Jew, b / n; engineer of the Proletarian RZhU of Moscow. Lived in Moscow. In 1956-1957. - Member of the underground student Marxist group "Union of Patriots of Russia" ("Krasnopevtsev's circle"). He reproduced and distributed leaflets with demands for the democratization of society (on the Plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU in June 1957). Arrested 09/05/1957. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on February 12, 1958 under Art. 58-10, part 1, 58-11 (“participation in an anti-Soviet organization”) to 6 years in labor camp. He served his term in Dubravlag (Mordovian ASSR) - pos. Yavas, pos. Sosnovka, pos. Barashevo (total 7). In the camp, he declared a 24-day hunger strike (they were force-fed). Received repeated refusals to review the case. After his release on 09/07/1963 he lived in Lipetsk. In 1971 he was convicted under Art. 218 ("manufacturing and storage of firearms") for 1.5 years of the penal colony. He served his term in camp No. 3 in Yelets). Rehabilitated 05/04/1989.
He died on May 5, 2018 in Lipetsk.
