He served his sentence in Mordovia: ZH-385/7, ZH-385/19, ZH-385/5, ZH-385/11, ZH-385/14. Released on July 26, 1960 by order of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR dated July 5, 1960 - the term was reduced to 3.5 years. He returned to Dnepropetrovsk and later moved to Moscow.
