Kuznetsov Vladimir Petrovich

Born in 1936 in Moscow. In 1957 he was a student at the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University. Together with his friend A.N. Terekhin, he wrote and distributed a leaflet protesting the suppression of the Hungarian Revolution (1956). Arrested on March 19, 1957. Sentenced by the Moscow City Court on July 4, 1957, under Article 58-10, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, to 3 years' imprisonment. From 1957 to 1959, he was held in Mordovia camps, where, together with L. Chertkov and other fellow camp inmates, he participated in the handwritten almanac "Pyatirechie." He was released on parole on May 22, 1959. Lived in Moscow. He died in 2014.
