Arrested on February 23, 1961. The VT of the Baltic Military District was sentenced on October 26, 1961 under Article 65 Part 1, 59 Part 1, 209 of the Criminal Code of the Latvian SSR to 15 years in prison, with confiscation of property. He served his sentence in Dubravlaga and Perm camps. After his release, he became a road department worker. Arrested 09/15/1983. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the Latvian SSR on December 19, 1983 under Art. 65 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Latvian SSR to 7 years of imprisonment and 5 years of exile. He served his sentence in the Perm camps. By decree of the PVS of the USSR dated June 18, 1987, the remaining term was reduced by half. Released on February 1, 1988 due to pardon. Died 04/06/1988.
