Lukyanenko Lev (Levko) Grigorievich
Definition: Ukrainian dissident from the times of the USSR, political figure of independent Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine.

Genus. in 1928, Khripovka village, Chernigov region, Gorodnyansky district, Ukrainian SSR; Ukrainian, from a peasant background, expelled from the CPSU membership due to arrest, higher education - graduated from the Law Faculty of Moscow State University in 1958. Before his arrest, he worked as a lawyer at the Glinyansk legal clinic. Lived in Glinany, Lviv region, st. Vatutina, 2, apt. 7. Arrested in 1961, accused “of having betrayed the Motherland, in early 1959 he was one of the initiators of the creation, and subsequently the leader of the anti-Soviet nationalist organization URSS and the author of the program of this organization. The URSS organization created on his initiative was persecuted by its the goal is to wage a struggle against the existing Soviet system, the liquidation of Soviet power in Ukraine, its separation from the Soviet Union and the creation of a so-called “independent" Ukraine. As the head of this organization, until the day of his arrest he carried out active criminal activities aimed at weakening the power of the Soviet state. In In November 1960, on his initiative and with his personal participation, an illegal gathering of conspirators took place, where measures to further intensify the organization’s anti-Soviet nationalist activities, forms and methods of fighting against Soviet power were discussed. In December 1960, he compiled the so-called “notes” ", in which, from an anti-Soviet position, he outlined the main provisions of the further hostile activities of the URSS organization, i.e. in the commission of crimes provided for in Article 56 Part I and Article 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR. "
05/20/1961 convicted by the Lvov Regional Court under Art. 56 part 1, 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR for 15 years in prison. Released in 1976. Worked as an electrician in a regional children's hospital. Lived in Chernigov, Ukrainian SSR. Arrested 12/12/1977. Sentenced by the Chernigov Regional Court on July 20, 1978 under Art. 62 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years of imprisonment, 5 years of exile. He served his term in Dubravlaga and Perm camps, and exile in the Tomsk region. By decree of the PVS of the USSR dated November 30, 1988, he was pardoned. Died on July 7, 2018 in Kyiv.
