Before his arrest, he worked as a land management engineer at the Lviv Department of Agriculture. Lived in Lvov, st. Iordanskaya, 44. Arrested in 1961, accused “of having betrayed the Motherland, since the summer of 1959, being a member of the anti-Soviet nationalist organization, the so-called “Ukrainian Robitnicho-Rural Split” (URSS), carrying out an active hostile activities aimed at separating the Ukrainian SSR from the Soviet Union, eliminating Soviet power in Ukraine and creating the so-called “independent” Ukraine, i.e. committing crimes under Article 56 Part I and 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR." Sentenced on May 20, 1961. Lviv Regional Court to 10 years in prison. He was kept in Mordovian camps. Released 1971
