Genus. in 1930 (according to other data in 1936) in Poland, Lublin Voivodeship, Volodovsky Povit, village Stulno; Ukrainian; higher education, graduated from the Faculty of Law of Lvov University in 1953; lawyer. Before the arrest he worked as a manager. legal advice in Peremyshlyansky district, Lviv region. Lived in Lvov (Dekabristov St., 57-37). In 1961 he was arrested and accused “of having betrayed the Motherland, since April 1960 he was an active participant in the anti-Soviet nationalist organization, the so-called “Ukrainian Robitnicho-Rural Split” (URSS) and carried out hostile anti-Soviet activities aimed at undermining public and state system in the USSR, for the separation of the Ukrainian SSR from the USSR and the liquidation of Soviet power in Ukraine, for the creation of the so-called “independent" Ukraine. In November 1960, at an illegal gathering of conspirators, he took an active part in discussing the forms and methods of subversive activities of the organization, i.e. ... in the commission of crimes provided for in Article 56, Part I and 64 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR." On May 20, 1961, he was sentenced by the Lvov Regional Court under Article 64, paragraph a, of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 15 years in a penal colony. Released in 1976. Lived in the Ukrainian SSR, Lviv region, Pustomyty. He worked as a mechanic repairing sewing machines at a regional industrial plant. Arrested on March 24, 1981 for participation in the Ukrainian Helsinki Group. Sentenced by the Lviv Regional Court on July 24, 1981 under Art. 62 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years of penal colony and 5 years of exile. Imprisoned in the Perm camps. Released on September 09, 1988 due to pardon. Rehabilitated on September 22, 1992 by the Lviv Prosecutor's Office on the basis of the Law of Ukraine "On the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression in Ukraine" dated April 17, 1991. Died 11/08/2002.
