Definition:

Russian politician. Since March 1990 - Deputy of the Moscow City Council, First Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Council. He assisted in the transportation to Moscow and installation of the Solovetsky Stone on Lubyanka Square (1990). In the spring of 1991, he was part of the election headquarters of the RSFSR presidential candidate B. N. Yeltsin.
