Born in 1938 in Moscow; Jewish; no name; higher education - mathematician, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. Before his arrest - acting senior research fellow at the Research Institute of General and Polytechnic Education of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences. Arrested on 16 May 1968 on charges under Article 190-1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced on 21 May 1969 by the Moscow City Court to 3 years in a general regime camp for distributing samizdat. He was held from 10 November 1969 to 15 May 1971 in the settlement of Nizhny Ingash, Krasnoyarsk Krai. After his release, he returned to Moscow.
