Genus. 02/20/1946 in Gorky. He graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Soil Sciences of Leningrad State University in 1968, and studied at the Faculty of Psychology (1968–1971). One of the founders of the samizdat magazine "37" (1976–1981, Leningrad). In July 1977, under pressure from the KGB, he was forced to emigrate and was deprived of Soviet citizenship. Lived in Austria and Germany. He joined the NTS and was an employee of the Posev publishing house. In 1985, deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine "Grani", in 1986–1988 editor of the NTS bulletins "Grani" and "Meetings". In 1994 he returned to St. Petersburg, was engaged in scientific work in the field of psychology, and taught at the Russian State Pedagogical University named after. A. I. Herzen. Died 2011
