Savitsky Vitaly Viktorovich

Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the first convocation (1993-1995), was a member of the Russia's Choice faction, deputy chairman of the Committee on Public Associations and Religious Organizations. Born on July 18, 1955 in Tallinn; graduated from Kaliningrad State University, Candidate of Biological Sciences; He began his career as a turner at a food engineering plant; worked as a group leader at the Scientific Research Technological Institute (NITI) in Sosnovy Bor, Leningrad Region, and as a researcher at St. Petersburg State University; before being elected to the State Duma, he worked as a researcher at the Research Institute of Computational Mathematics and Control Processes at St. Petersburg State University; died on December 10, 1995. He was the editor and one of the leading authors of the samizdat weekly "Resurrection" (1988-1990). In April 1990, he took part in the founding conference of the RCDD, entered the RCDD Duma, but in February 1992 he left the RCDD due to disagreement with the policies of V. Aksyuchits. In the spring of 1992, he became one of the co-chairs of the Russian Christian Union of Christians (since 1995 - “RKhDU - Christians of Russia”).
