Genus. 1881 in the village. Novodevichye, Simbirsk province. Graduated from the Riga Polytechnic Institute (1910), engineer-architect. In 1914 he entered the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in the architectural department (workshop of L.N. Benois). Since 1916 he worked in design organizations in Moscow. Arrested 12/04/1934. Sentenced on November 24, 1935 by OS NKVD ("k/r agitation") to 5 years in labor camp. The term begins on December 4, 1934. Imprisoned in Siblag (Temirtau; 1935 - mid-1936), transferred to the Dmitlag design bureau for the construction of the Moscow-Volga canal. From 07/14/1937 in Ukhtpechlag/Ukhtizhemlag (Chibyu village, Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Released 08 (according to other sources, 09).11.1938 ahead of schedule, due to tests. Arrested for the second time in 1942, deported to Temirtau. He died in Barnaul on the way to exile. Rehabilitated in 1958
