Member of the CPSU since 1926. Worked in the Volosovsky and Gatchina district Komsomol committees, in Kingisepp, Cherepovets, Apatity. He took part in the creation of collective farms in the Leningrad region. Head of the agricultural department of the Leningrad regional committee of the Komsomol, then headed the department of peasant youth). Delegate to the X Congress of the Komsomol. In mid-1937, he was suspended and fired after a visit to A.A. Zhdanov with a petition about an arrested colleague. He worked as a turner's assistant. 12/28/1937 arrested at the plant. He was tortured while under investigation. On September 23, 1938, the USSR All-Russian Military Commission condemned it under Art. 17-58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for 10 years in labor camps and 5 years in a penal colony (participation in a “right-wing c/r organization”). He was held in Vladimir, Orel, and Krasnoyarsk prisons, then transferred to the Norilsk ITL. Released in 1945. Rehabilitated. Died 1996
