Sentenced on 07/04/1933 by a troika at the OGPU PP for the Moscow Region under Art. 58-7 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 8 years of labor camp. He served his sentence in Uglich and was released on November 20, 1936. After his release he worked as a st. geologist at Volgostroy NKVD in Rybinsk-Perebory, Yaroslavl region for the preparation of the flood zone at Volgostroy, in May 1945 - deputy. Ch. geologist at the Verkhne Kaluga engineering-geological expedition of the Hydroproject. Rehabilitated by the Moscow Prosecutor's Office in July 1991.
