Chernyak Matilda Iosifovna
Born in 1895 in Lodz ; Graduated from the Transport Academy. Since 1918, she served in the Red Army and took part in the defense of Tsaritsyn. Since the early 1920s. lived in Siberia, at party work: from October 1921 - secretary of the Anzhero-Sudzhensky district committee of the RCP (b), from January 1922 - in the propaganda department of the provincial committee, then in the apparatus of the Sibburo of the Central Committee. At the time of his arrest, he was the chairman of the district executive committee of the Frunzensky district of Leningrad. She was arrested shortly after her husband’s arrest, in December 1937. She was sentenced by a resolution of the Special Meeting of the NKVD of the USSR on January 28, 1938 to 8 years in a labor camp. In custody in Mordovia. After the camp - in exile in the city of Kineshma, on the Volga. I was able to return to Leningrad only after rehabilitation. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on May 21, 1955. She died in 1971 in Moscow.
