Genus. in 1905 in St. Petersburg, in the family of Professor Shipchinsky V.V. He studied at the Leningrad Institute of the Living Word, and after moving to Moscow, at the Anthropological Institute of Moscow State University. He participated in the scout movement. He was arrested for the first time in 1924. After the scouting organization was banned, he continued his scouting work and founded the “Union of Thinking Youth” with branches in Moscow and Crimea. The second arrest in 1926 was associated with the final defeat of the scout movement. Arrested 06/21/1930. Sentenced by the visiting session of the OGPU Collegium under Art. 58-2 (armed insurrection) and Art. 82 part 1 (escape) of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to VMN. Shot on December 13, 1930. Rehabilitated on August 16, 2006.
