Genus. in 1895 in Moscow; Higher education: graduated from the Faculty of Law of Moscow University. He served at the Korsh Theater and at the Tairov Chamber Theater. Arrested in 1918. Arrested 11/01/1924. Sentenced by the Kogpu on March 27, 1925 to 10 years in a concentration camp. Imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp. Published in the magazine “Solovetsky Islands” and the newspaper “New Solovki”, participated in the work of the theater group “HLAM”. In 1929, the “unloading commission” reduced the period from 10 to 8 years. In 1930, together with the leadership of the camp, he left for Kem, in 1932 he was released, moved to Moscow, and re-entered the Chamber Theater. Rehabilitated in the 1924 case by the Main Military Prosecutor's Office on November 30, 1993.
