Born in 1905 in the family of an employee in Moscow. He graduated from high school (1922). Member of the scout movement (since 1923), patrolman. Arrested on 04/24/1926 in Moscow, by a resolution of the Special Meeting at the KOGPU dated 08/23/1926, he was sentenced to 3 years in a concentration camp. In conclusion on Solovki: he worked in the Solovetsky Society of Local Lore (at a biological station), since 1929 - on the mainland: in Kem he worked in the fire department, then on Myag-Ostrov on a timber rafting. Since 1929, in exile in the Surgut region of the village of Pilyugino, then the village of Polovinka, he was engaged in hunting and fishing. In 1933 he returned to Moscow, a freelancer at the Central Scientific Research Institute of Fur Economy, from 1934 to 1941 a member of biological and fishing expeditions. Member of the Second World War (1941-1945), awarded with medals: "For the Capture of Koenigsberg", "For the Victory over Germany", "30 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War", "Fifty Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR". After the war, a researcher at the Central Scientific Research Laboratory (1946–1958), graduated from the All-Union Agricultural Institute of Correspondence Education (1955), a biologist and hunter, was engaged in the resettlement of arctic fox and sable. Since 1958 - senior scientific editor in the journal "Hunting and Hunting". Awarded with VDNKh medals. Author of books (“Industrial collective farm “The Way of Lenin”, 1934; Capercaillie and hazel grouse, 1934; Fox, 1950) and a number of scientific and journalistic articles. Retired since 1970. The author of the memoirs "On what is remembered (1929-1933)". He died in 1989 in Moscow.
