Genus. in 1900 in Arkhangelsk. Scoutmaster. Editor of the Scout magazine in Chelyabinsk (1919). In Petrograd (from the early 1920s), one of the organizers of the scout movement. Signed the Declaration of Petrograd scout workers on the issue of implementing the Scouting system in children's groups in the North-Western region (06/21/1922). He signed an appeal for the formation of the “Brotherhood of Forest Tribes” on the basis of Petrograd school No. 197 (07/09/1922). Member of the underground scout movement in Leningrad (since 1924). Worked as a fireman. Arrested on June 11, 1926 by the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District on charges under Art. 62 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (work in an illegal organization to revive scouting in the USSR). Released on June 11, 1926 on his own recognizance until the end of the investigation. Arrested on November 5, 1926 by the OGPU PP in the Leningrad Military District. By a resolution of the OS at the OGPU collegium dated November 29, 1926, he was sentenced to 3 years in a concentration camp. While imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp (Kem), he worked as a firefighter. After being released into exile in Siberia. Rehabilitated by the Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg on November 18, 1997.
