Genus. in 1903 in St. Petersburg. Lived in Moscow, OPSO scout. Biologist, worked at the Central Experimental Club of Pioneers in the Khamovnichesky District of Moscow. Arrested in Moscow on April 23, 1926, by a resolution of the Special Meeting of the OGPU Collegium on August 23, 1926, he was sentenced to 3 years in a camp. While imprisoned in Solovki, he worked at the Biostation. Released on June 28, 1929, deported to Siberia. In exile in the village. Voronino, Kirensky district, Irkutsk region. Arrested in Kirensk on June 16, 1930 and prosecuted under Art. 58-2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. By a resolution of the troika at the OGPU PP for VSK dated March 2, 1931, he was sentenced to VMN for counter-revolutionary activities. Shot on March 15, 1931. Rehabilitated on March 28, 1989.

The author, Agafonova A.L., was born in 1907 in Nizhny Novgorod. Scout of the Nizhny Novgorod organization "Argo". At the beginning of the memories - a student of the agronomic faculty of the Nizhny Novgorod State University.
