Sholp-Garyazin Evgeny Arkadievich

Genus. 03/06/1887 in Sevastopol; higher education: graduated from the mathematical department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow State University (1910) and the Petrograd Institute of Communications (1917). In 1915-1917 at the front as a conductor engineer; in 1917-1924 he worked on the Leningrad-Vitebsk railway; in 1925-1932 design engineer at the Kirov plant in Leningrad. In 1933–1942 he was a senior design engineer and consultant at the Design Bureau of the Lifting and Transportation Equipment Plant named after V.I. S.M. Kirov. In 1944 he lived in Leningrad, an associate professor at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (he was fired before his arrest). Arrested on December 11, 1945 (according to other sources, arrested on December 11, 1944) on charges of collaborating with the invaders in Pyatigorsk in 1942; sentenced: Military Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lenokrug on February 11, 1947 under Art. 58-1a to 10 years of labor camp and 3 years of disqualification with confiscation of property. Imprisoned in Unzhlag. In 1946-1953 - s / c specialist in the Special. Design Bureau at the defense plant. After his release in 1954, he worked in Khimki (senior researcher at TsNIIME on timber transportation). Retired since 1957. In 1958–1967 he taught at the Leningrad Technological Institute of the Refrigeration Industry (LTIKhP). He died in 1984 in Leningrad.
By a resolution of the meeting of the Leningrad Regional Commission for the Review of Cases against Persons Convicted of a Crime Contained in Camps, Colonies and Prisons of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs and in Exile in a Settlement, dated 04.11.1954, the verdict was recognized as correct.
