M.I. Kalinin (since 1923). In 1937–1941 professor, head of the department of Thermal Power Plants, in 1941–1942. Dean of the Electromechanical Faculty, in 1942 acting Director of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute named after. M.I. Kalinin, evacuated to Pyatigorsk. Arrested on May 25, 1942 in Pyatigorsk on charges of belonging to an anti-Soviet organization and aiding the German invaders, accused under Art. 58-10-11, 58-3 and 58-2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Due to the military situation, he was transferred from the region. He died en route on August 18, 1942. Rehabilitated 03/06/1957.
