Arrested on May 25, 1942 in Pyatigorsk on charges of belonging to an anti-Soviet organization and aiding the German invaders, accused under Art. 58-10-11, 58-3 and 58-2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Due to the military situation, he was transferred from the region. He died en route on August 18, 1942. Rehabilitated 03/06/1957.
