Born in 1888 in the village of Derevenskoye, Spassky district, Ryazan province. From 1904 - worker in the factories of St. Petersburg; Russian; member of the RSDLP since 1906. In 1913-1917 - a sergeant major in the army, in February 1917 - chairman of the regimental committee, after demobilization - assistant to the commander of the revolutionary guard of the Vyborg district of Petrograd. In 1918-1920 - commissar on the Northern and Southern fronts, in 1921 - chief of the Petrograd provincial militia. In 1922 he was sent to the Petrograd Polytechnic Institute to lead the party organization of the institute and was enrolled in the workers' faculty. An active participant in the political and social purges of the team and the placement of all governing bodies and public organizations of the institute under party control. In 1925, after graduating from the workers' faculty, he was enrolled in the 1st year of the economics faculty. In February 1926 he was appointed chairman of the Vyborg District Executive Committee and stopped his studies. From August 1926 he was the head of the Leningrad Provincial Department of Public Education. In 1927-1930 he was the secretary of the Volodar District Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in Leningrad. In 1930-1934 he was a candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). In 1932 he was elected chairman of the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee. In March 1933 he was the secretary of the Leningrad City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) for supplies. From January 1935 he was the secretary of the presidium of the Kuibyshev Regional Executive Committee. He lived in Kuibyshev. He was arrested on July 4, 1937. He was sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR on May 13, 1938 under Art. 58-2, 58-7, 58-8, 58-9 and 58-11 to be shot. Shot on 13.05.1938. Burial place - Kuibyshev. Rehabilitated on 12.07.1957 by the Supreme Court of the USSR.
